Our Approach
We believe in a balanced education that honors the flexibility of a home environment while providing the structure of a traditional school. Our approach is designed to promote both academic growth and spiritual development in a nurturing, Christian setting.
Our Students
Each student that attends ABCS is given various opportunities to serve in our local community and at Albemarle Baptist Church and School. We believe that the best way to teach our students about true citizenship is to expose them to multiple community events that they can learn from local leaders and share the love of Christ with others. Our students are held to a high standard of learning and behavior because we believe it is paramount in the lives of all those attending ABCS to show forth Christlikeness.Â
Our Focus
At ABCS, our focus is to teach the next generation to have a Biblical worldview. We want our students to successfully implement that worldview after receiving the level of education necessary to navigate in this modern world. We use A Beka, Apologia, and Saxon curriculums to give our students, what we believe to be, the best blend of a well-rounded education. Our classrooms are centered on the Bible as the ultimate textbook, and we incorporate it in every subject that we teach.Â
